What a day

So many ups and downs today! First at Awana I ended up in a classroom alone with 32 girls from 5th-7th grade when the other two teachers couldn't make it. Needless to say it was chaotic. Then I had two very serious talks with two of my girls, one about being kind to others and the other about her father who made a thoughtless act and hurt her deeply. It was a bit of a drain, spiritually, but afterwards I felt tuned up and ready to take on a giant.
Then we watched the elections. Need I say more? Barak Obama is now our elected President of the United States of America. I can only pray that God would not leave our nation in this time when we so desperately need him. We must stay that one nation under God, for under anything else we are nothing. Pray for our leaders, pray for our people, pray for our nation.

Today we saw history being written before our eyes. We have yet to see how it will effect our future, and our children's future.

Forever and Always,
